Week 9:
7/06/09: Monday, 6:00pm
—7/08/09: Wednesday, 9:00am & 12:30pm

Hi everybody, For this week partly because I am posting this so late in the week, but also partly because I want all of you simply to catch up and I'd just like to see what you come up with, there is not much homework. Instead, you are just going to follow the instructions below. Enjoy your weekend, Carter-

HOMEWORK

5 free exercise: READ BELOW HERE TO FIND OUT WHAT YOU SHOULD DO FOR HOMEWORK THIS WEEK THIS WEEK, what you are to do is draw anything you like. I would concentrate on something simple, like doing a still-life of simple objects on a table. If you are not sure what a still-life is, all it really consists of is a few things that you group on a table to draw. A few pieces of fruit grouped together is a pretty good subject, although for some that may be rather difficult because of all the curves. Many of you could afford to REDO the books drawing and make it nicer. When doing this drawing, concentrate on the shapes and the forms, the angles and the edges and NOT all the details on the cover of the book. Notice the shades and shadows instead. For those of you that need to make up some points that you missed from homework or missing classwork during the first half of the term, this week is for you to try and concentrate on doing some extra credit in addition to what I've assigned above.

Once you open Illustrator, choose FILE >> OPEN and then select this file. Let me know if you have further questions or difficulties.
