Week 3:
  —2/02/09: Monday, 6:00pm
  —2/04/09: Wednesday, 9:00am & 12:30pm

Hi everybody, Below you will see a box with the 3rd week'sfiles and then below it, you will see a box with week 1 and week 2 files. Hopefully by now, most of you have a pretty good idea how things are going to go in this class. Below you will see the links for this week, the classwork and the homework. For homework this week, PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND DO NOT SIMPLY LOOK AT THE TITLE AND BEGIN. The instructions will tell you not only how to do the exercise, but WHAT TO CONCENTRATE ON. You should also notice how much time I recommend that you spend on the drawings. These are NOT meant to be long and painstaking drawings. You should simply focus on the EDGES AND CONTOURS. Do not agonize over the tiny details. We will do some drawings later on that take longer, these are meant to be relatively simple and quick. Of course, if you already have some drawing skill, I will expect more from you. This does not mean you should leave your drawing half done; instead, try to finish each drawing in the time given. And please, DO NOT TRY TO BE PERFECT. Like last week, you will require 2 files. One file consists of the instructions of what you are supposed to do, and the other file is an Illustrator file which you will need in order to complete the computer exercise due next week. Let me know if you have any questions or need any help. Carter-

5 LINKhomework - Adobe Illustrator Graphic—this is the file that you should use in the last homework in the handout.
